Sydney Sweeney is "learning a lot" about herself after calling off her engagement to ex-fiancé, Jonathan Davino.
According to Page Six, the former pair dated for six years and had plans to tie the knot this spring before ultimately deciding to end their relationship.
"I'm learning a lot about myself, spending more time with my friends. And I’m loving it," the Euphoria actress told the Sunday Times on Saturday (May 31).
In March, an insider told US Weekly that Sweeney, 27, and Davino, 41, were having "major issues" but had not fully separated.
"Sydney and Jonathan have been having major issues but are not fully split. Things are not great right now, but they aren’t throwing in the towel yet." The source also revealed that the White Lotus standout called off the wedding because of her demanding schedule.
"Sydney wanted to cancel everything and couldn’t handle the stress. A lot of their issues stem from Sydney being extremely busy with work commitments. She doesn’t have a lot of downtime, and it causes tension in their relationship. Sydney is really focused on her career. Jonathan wishes they were able to spend more quality time together."
Sweeney, who is not dating Anyone But You co-star Glen Powell despite hearsay, is focusing on her career and recently partnered with Dr. Squatch to sell soap inspired by her literal bathwater.
