Tyler, The Creator has scored his fourth consecutive No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with his latest release, DON’T TAP THE GLASS. The album debuted at the top of the chart dated August 2, earning 197,000 equivalent album units in just four days of tracking, according to Luminate.
Tyler surprise-announced the project on Friday, July 18, dropping it the following Monday, July 21—an unusual off-cycle release that still managed to dominate. Over half of the album’s first-week numbers came from pure album sales, with 128,000 units sold, making it the top-selling album of the week.
Sales were largely driven by five exclusive physical versions available only through Tyler’s official webstore. These included a vinyl LP, CD, and three deluxe box sets, each bundled with branded clothing and a bonus track not found on the standard 10-song digital edition.
With DON’T TAP THE GLASS, Tyler continues a winning streak that began with IGOR (2019), followed by CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST (2021), and CHROMAKOPIA (2024). All eight of his full-length albums have reached the Billboard 200’s top 10.
