Ed Sheeran Recreates Special Memories With Wife In Romantic 'Camera' Video

Ed Sheeran is living in the moment with the love of his life.

The English musician dropped his eighth studio album Play on Friday (September 12), featuring previously released songs like "Azizam" and "Sapphire" as well as his latest single "Camera." The romantic track describes how he doesn't need to document every minute of a relationship because his partner is always at the front of his mind.

"I don't need a camera to capture this moment/ I'll remember how you look tonight for all my life," he sings in the chorus. "When everything is black and white, your color's exploding/ There's somethin' in the way you shine/ I don't need a camera when you're in my eyes."

An accompanying music video for "Camera" also dropped Friday, with Sheeran starring opposite Bridgerton actress Phoebe Dynevor in a unique concept filmed in the style of home video-inspired snapshots. The sweet visuals captured special milestones and everyday moments of their blooming relationship, from meeting on a first date to getting engaged backdropped by a beautiful sunset to standing on stage in front of thousands of fans at his concert.

He previously explained on Instagram that he originally planned to use "private home footage" of big moments in his life with wife Cherry Seaborn, but because they are "an intensely private couple," he recreated them with Dynevor instead.

Sheeran also shared some behind-the-scenes studio footage from the making of the new album on Instagram, reflecting in the caption how Play "made me fall in love with fun again" and explaining what sets it apart from previous projects.

"Writing and recording Subtract was so cathartic but also so heavy. Going into Stereo after Mathematics ended I wanted to start with the polar opposite. Play celebrates love, life, culture, exploring, creativity and technicolor," he said. "I've loved making this record and the last 6 months have been just what I needed to get back into the swing of things — to reheat my love for pop, and popping up."

Ed Sheeran will be taking over the stage at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Festival presented by Capital One on September 19 and 20 in Las Vegas. Fans can tune in to the music mega even all weekend as it will be broadcast live each night via iHeartMedia radio stations throughout the country across more than 150 markets. Hulu will be the Official Streaming Destination of the festival, with performances livestreamed each night exclusively to all Hulu subscribers.

Sheeran's album Play, featuring his new single "Camera," is available to stream on iHeartRadio.
