Zach Bryan has set a new milestone in live music history, drawing the largest ticketed concert crowd ever in the United States.

On September 27, more than 112,000 fans packed into Michigan Stadium—known as The Big House—for the latest stop on Bryan’s Quittin’ Time Tour. The venue, America’s largest stadium, hosted a full-scale concert for the very first time.

The turnout surpassed the previous record of 110,905 attendees, set by George Strait in Texas in 2024.

Bryan, 29, treated the crowd to a 27-song setlist covering his career highlights and tracks from his newest album, The Great American Bar Scene. The night featured memorable collaborations, including John Mayer joining him on the Grateful Dead classic Friend of the Devil, and Michigan duo The War and Treaty performing their joint hit Hey Driver.

“This might be the craziest thing I’ve ever done,” Bryan told the record-breaking audience.

The concert also set a new merchandise record, reportedly bringing in $5 million in sales.

The landmark performance comes on the heels of another major moment in Bryan’s year: a shared stage with Bruce Springsteen at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey this past July. Together with Caleb Followill of Kings of Leon, the trio performed Springsteen’s Atlantic City, with The Boss later returning to join Bryan for Revival.
