Lana Del Rey is giving fans a fresh update on her long-delayed country-inspired album, teasing new music and a potential release timeline.
In a short video shared to Instagram Stories on Saturday (February 7), Del Rey revealed that her next single, “White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter,” will arrive on the 17th. She described the track as her favorite song from the project, calling it the one she’s been waiting to share.
The singer said the song came together after working closely with producers Drew Erickson and Jack Antonoff, explaining that they finally landed on the sound she felt the track needed. The song was co-written with her husband, Jeremy Dufrene, along with family members Caroline “Chuck” Grant and her brother-in-law, making it a deeply personal collaboration.
Del Rey also confirmed that a music video for the song is already finished, noting that it was created independently with a hands-on, do-it-yourself approach — though she acknowledged the lengthy editing process behind the scenes.
As for the album itself, Del Rey suggested it could be released within the next few months. She explained that vinyl production timelines are the main factor determining the rollout, estimating that manufacturing adds roughly three months to the process.
The project has gone through several changes since it was first announced in early 2024. Originally titled Lasso, the album was later renamed The Right Person Will Stay before settling on its current title, Stove. Del Rey has previously said the record took longer than expected because the songs were more autobiographical than she initially realized.
