> L.A. County Sheriff: Santa Clarita Shooter Used A “Ghost Gun”- New information is coming out about the weapon used in the school shooting in Southern California.

Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva says the firearm was assembled from parts and considered a so-called ghost gun without a registration number. Investigators have not figured out who put the gun together, but they are sifting through the teenage gunman's online records.

Ghost guns are becoming a problem for law enforcement because they are made from various parts from a kit and can be assembled easily. This makes them virtually untraceable.

The 16-year old shooter's father had a small arsenal of weapons, some of which were unregistered. The teen shot several classmates at Saugus High last week in Santa Clarita, killing two before turning the homemade 45 caliber pistol on himself.
