#GoodNews: Hospital Staff Donates Paid Time Off To Co-Worker For Surgery

The staff at an Idaho hospital donated their paid time off hours to a co-worker so she could get a life-saving surgery.

In the last two years, Elizabeth Obregon has battled cervical cancer, had COVID while pregnant, delivered her baby a month early, and still managed to work as a medical assistant.

She needed surgery to keep her cancer at bay, but couldn’t take any more time off, so her coworkers donated 240 hours of their paid time off to help her out.
