Let's welcome April Ryan to our Houston Women Podcast! April is our latest guest and we are so excited to chat with her and learn more about her story.
As some of you might know, we have a few sister stations and one of them is 94.5 The Buzz. Their morning show host is Rod Ryan, who is April's husband. April and Rod met while she was the radio station's photographer. They have a beautiful daughter together and now April is back to focusing on her photography career.
April is currently showcasing her photography at Taft McWhorter Private Gallery open every 2nd Saturday from 12-5pm (Social Distancing/Masks enforced). She is part of The Seekers, which consists of 12 artists using different mediums of expressionism. It is a Houston Art Collaborative Taft created in 2020. April's pictures are placed next to David Adickes - most people know him for Sam Houston Monument and Presidential Heads DT, but he is also a painter. More info HERE.
